Day 6 Habit Project May 17th

No texting and driving for me.  I am dealing with a annoying cold that came on early this week.  Why do I tell you this...well for sympothy of course.  No, not at all. It may play a role in not texting because I have been fixiated on the cold causing a sore throat and other nuisances.  The weekend is approaching which usually means more drive time but with someone in the car.  It will be interesting to see how I deal with longer drives and possible communication on on th weekend.  Keep pushing everyone,  I hope you are coping with your stress in ways that will keep you calm and focused!

  1. Yesterday I went to the grocery store and got more healthy foods. Today when I got home, I made smoothie. It had 5 strawberries, 1 banana, 2 cubes of ice, two spoonfuls of vanilla Greek yogurt, and water. It tasted very delicious. Strawberry banana smoothies are my favorite. Something that I can work on in the future is to use healthy foods in a fun way. Not just eating it by itself, but mixed with other kinds of healthy foods.

  2. Today I had school again. I gave my hotdog order to my sister so I wouldn’t ruin my goals and the project. For lunch I had a sandwich and strawberries if I was still hungry. I also drank a good amount of water today too. I just finished up all my homework and my cat decided it would be a good idea to lay on top of my binder. Unfortunately today I didn’t walk home with my sister because my grandfather was really sad yesterday because he didn’t get to come pick me and my sister up from our bus stop. But I should probably ask my parents if I could go walk around the neighborhood for a little bit. I think that when this project ends, I will continue eating healthier and try to workout more.

  3. Today I woke up and had a fruit parfait and a glass of lactaid milk, because i always have lactaid milk in the morning. Then i got my phone scrolled through instagram and snapchat, then got dressed and went to school. For lunch i always have a salad with fruits and vegetables, with oranges, strawberries, lemons, and lime slices in my water like usual. Then i got home and started doing homework and had mac and cheese with my grandma's fresh pasta and my dad's cheese sauce. Then i started working on my research paper. Sometime in the future i would like to use fruits and vegetables in a unique way. And also share it with friends and family.

  4. Today I woke up and was running late so I didn't eat breakfast. I got ready and sat down on my phone for about 30 minutes. After this I drove to school and used my phone in the car for about 5 minutes. For lunch today I had a bagel and I'm still doing well with drinking water. When I got home from school I watched some tv and then I took a nap. I ate a big dinner so I'm probably not going to have any snacks. I went for a walk with my dog and now I am finishing up my research paper. So I guess I could say that today has been a good day

  5. Today I did not drink my goal of 60 ounces. Today I only drank 40 ounces of water. Although I am disappointed that I didn’t drink my goal I can definitely feel the difference from when I drink a lot of water compared to a little. The other day when I drank 100 ounces of water, I felt energized and productive. Howerver, when I only drink 40 ounces or so I feel less energized and lazy. I always find that whenever I’m busy I normally forget to drink water. Yesterday and today were busy days due to graduation stuff for Jessica. I am going to make sure while I’m in the car to bring a water bottle in hopes to reach my goal.

  6. Today I ate a grapefruit for breakfast and a salad for lunch. I got dismissed from school to go to a checkup. I had frozen with my mom and sister afterwards. I finished my research paper and homework. I tried to exercise but I got tired really easily so it was really hard to keep exercising. I don’t know how to not get tired but I’ll keep trying tomorrow

  7. Today I went to school and Had a salad granola bar and a banana for lunch. After school I had an apple. I then did 25% of my homework before I had to go to dance. I was at dance from 5-9 and ate soup afterwards. Then I am still doing homework atm which is why I’m typing this rn. And I doubt that I’m going to get a lot of sleep because I still have a lot left. I also drank about 72 ounces of water today.

Today i woke up and went to school then came back home around 4 again we had more homework than we had the past couple of days so it took me longer so i did half before dinner and half after dinner and was done around six thirty then i finished my research paper spent time away from may room to spend time with my dog and siblings i watched about 30 mins of a hockey game but that was it so it is currently nine thirty and i am going to take a shower and get to bed at 10.

  9. Today I woke up at 7:30 and preparing for school like any other day. Through the school day was normal . After school I did my home work and my research project for the whole day, unable to make time for the gym, failing to complete my task

  10. today i slept i watch youtube oh no i don't know how it happened i watch it for 5 sec then got out and did things that were fun so i can save a broke my goal for tomorrow is to make sure i don't touch youtube i will try really hard tomorrow .

  11. Last night I got 8 hours of sleep so, I guess I did ok with more sleep. When I woke up I did my regular routine and went to school. During the day I only had a small amount of water. When I got home I had a big glass of water about 12 oz and for dinner I had another bottle of water. So today I did better than yesterday, but still have room to improve.

  13. This morning I took a shower and again while getting ready I listened to music which really helps in the long run. We went to Shaw’s before school and I got pineapple which was really good. After school my grandmother picked my cousins and me up. We had little lollipops on the ride to my aunts. When we got to the house my cousin and I went on the swing for a little. I got to my grandmothers at 4:30 and I started to do my homework. I couldn’t finish my homework before dance because I had to eat. I also had to get ready.cwhile I ate I watched about 15 minutes of tv. I went to dance til 8 and got home at 8:30. I went in my room and finished my homework. Now I am doing my blog and after I will watch tv it about 10:35. I did limit the time of tv I watched today which is great.

  14. Today i woke up at 7:10, ate breakfast, got ready and went to school. Today was a pretty good day. Throughout my day I drank my 32 oz water bottle and refilled it 2x because of dance. I ended up drinking a total of 96 oz!! Today I had 5hrs of dance. I had a break and I finished all of my homework. I barely went on my phone today until now. Im hoping that I drink the same amount of water as I did today. I have a feeling that Im going to go on my phone a lot because it is a Friday but, I will try my hardest.

  15. This morning I woke up a lot later than I should have and had to rush to get ready so I wasn’t on my phone. In the car I was on my phone because I had to figure out what classes for cheer I wanted to do but then put it away. After school I went straight to cheer so didn’t use my phone much. I didn’t get home till about 7:30 and I had just been doing homework ever since because I had to fix a lot on my research paper and now it’s becoming more of a habit to fall asleep without the TV Or phone which is really good news and it’s also a lot better for you lol

  16. Yesterday I fell asleep very early than I usually do. Calming down my mind before I go to sleep is working. Today I did my homework and exercised for an hour and then I packed for my trip. Then after that I played tag with my sister around the house. I got ready for bed and fell asleep at 9 but I woke up 15 mins ago and remembered that I had to post on here.

  17. This morning I had a waffle for breakfast with water to drink. Today, I brought a water bottle to school again. For lunch I had a peanut butter sandwich and for a snack i had a banana and an orange. When I got home, I started writing my research paper and did some homework. Then, my mom randomly told me there was a piece of cake on the counter so I ate it. A few minutes after finishing the piece of cake I realized that I wasn’t supposed to do that. I really hope the I could be more aware of what I’m doing in the future even though it was just a little mistake.

  18. Today I spent most of my time at doing my homework. Then from there I washed my hair which takes around 2 hours. After that I helped put mt sisters to sleep. Honestly I rarely touched my phone today and I am Quite proud, but I didn't do much physical activity but gym and running around the Y to do errands.

  19. I spent all of yesterday doing homework. We had lots of homework and spent hours checking over my research paper. I didn’t use my phone at all and went to bed late because of me checking over my paper. In the future, I look to do my homework earlier so I have more time to do other things.

  21. I have been doing really good! In the morning I walked my dog , it was pretty chilly in the morning but i did it anyways . When I got home I did my homework and went for a jog with my mom then I went back home and took my dog for a walk and when i went to bed I read my book and went to sleep
