Habit Project Day 11 May 22nd

Hello everyone and happy day 11 of the project.  I have done this project multiple times and when I started this one I was not excited about it and did not think I would succeed.  I have had fixed thoughts for some time now and for the first time in a long time I feel my thoughts changing back to a growth mindset.  I am not crediting this project fully but it has played a role in me looking deeper at my life and realizing I was feeling anxious and negative for a while because of choses I was making that became habits.  When your in a habit sometimes you do not even recognize it as a chose because your dong it routinely, you think this is how it is, but you can change how it is.  You must retrain your brainwith small decisions that add up to big changes eventually.  There is no quick fix and sometime the progress is so slow it makes it easy to say "I give up" or "what's the point."  Thank you all for being great people and if you ever need anything do not hesitate to ask, I consider you all all part of my family!

  1. Today I was at school around 7:30. I don’t think I did great on one of my test. I continued to eat healthy but I didn’t not drink a lot of water. I had pineapple and strawberries for lunch today. I just finished all of my homework and I’m getting ready for a orientation later today.

  2. Today I woke up at around 7:20 and watched yt for 5 minutes then got up had breakfast and then went to the bus stop. For lunch I obviously had a salad and fruit. Then I'm heading to the tables now to ride any horse there pretty much. And probably for dinner I will have a fruit salad or chicken. But I most excited about tomorrow since its my birthday.

  3. Today, I had toast for breakfast. I brought a water bottle to school with me today, but I feel like I could’ve drunk more. After school, I ate strawberries and watermelon. I drank more water and went on my phone for about 20 minutes. Then I read for 30 minutes. Right now I am doing some homework, then I will shower and eat dinner.

  4. Today I had a grapefruit for breakfast and a kale salad for lunch. When I got home I had some cereal and then I went to the orthodontist. After the orthodontist I finished my homework. Then I had yogurt with berries and granola for dinner because I felt like eating breakfast foods today. I am just going to chill because we didn’t have that much homework

  5. Today I was dismissed early from school today because I had to go to the doctors. I did not have a snack right away because it was lunch time. So I waited till the end of my appointment and went out to have salad and pizza from auburn pizza.

  6. Today I woke up very tired, so I drank some water which woke me up. Then I drank about 20 ounces during school and another 20 after. I feel that my body is getting use to having about 60 oz of water and it feels hydrated. Throughout this challenge I’ve met my goal many times and I think that after this habit project I will continue to drink the amount of water I do because of how refreshed and energized it makes me feel.

  7. Today I woke up and I was really really tired.. I went to bed super late so I was wicked tired for the majority of the day. I drank water almost all day today I had fruit for lunch and I haven’t gone on my phone much today. I’ve been in a funk so I tried not to go on my phone and deal with drama so today was both good and bad

  8. This morning i woke up feeling awful. i have like a head cold and i just felt really clogged up. I didn’t use my phone in the morning at all ( besides to play music while getting ready ). my grandfather took me to school today because my mom had a very early meeting. i felt bad because normally when i’m with my grandfather i always use my phone but today we talked all the way to school. after school i went to cheer. after practice me and my neighbor went to the mexicali for dinner. left my phone in the car so that i wouldn’t use it. after dinner i went over to my neighbors house and we did homework together. when i got home i showered brushed my teeth, face etc. and i do not use my phone before bed anymore :)

  9. So last night I couldn’t sleep aswell so I got like 5 hours of sleep. Also today I barely drank water. The only water I had was for dinner which was 16 oz. I hope that tonight I can sleep and tomorrow I drink more water.

  10. Today I woke up and felt sick so I stayed in bed and ended up falling asleep. Then I woke back up at 7:40 and my throat didn't hurt anymore but my eyes hurt and I had headache. I still proceeded to get ready for school because as long as I'm not throwing up I'm fine. I got to school and felt really tired even though I went to bed at 10 but I did wake up at 2am and stayed up for an hour then went back to sleep. After school I cleaned the dishes and then did my homework. I tried to play connect four with my sister and she ended up yelling at me and told me I hurt her feeling and that it is not nice So we played hide and seek instead for an hour. Then we ate dinner and got ready for bed and now I'm waiting to fall asleep.

  11. Today I got up and took a shower. I then got ready for school and I have noticed it is nice to listen to music in the morning. This is nice because the urge of watching tv is diminished. So that is nice. We had to go to the store and get something for my moms work. Then after school I went to my aunts because my grandmother was watching my cousins. When we got to her house I did my homework. Before I could finish it was time to eat. We had Spaghetti and meatballs. We also had icecream. Then I finished my homework. I got ready to leave to go to dance and my cousin Ryan came for the drive to my dance. He was funny in the car. Then I got to dance at 6 and it was til 8. I got home at8:30 and started to do my outline. I had something to eat and stopped doing my outline. While i ate I did watch tv for 10 minutes. Then I finished my outline. Now I am ready for bed. So goodnight The day was really great I limited tv more then 2 hours which was my goal

  12. Today i woke up still tired bc i was playing Fortnite last night a lot. i broke my schedule but i don't think it affected the routine that much.

  13. This morning I had cereal for breakfast. I woke up at 6:45, got ready, and went to school. Today was an okay day. When I got home from school I didn’t homework and I had a snack. Today I did lack on my screen time. I went on it more than usual. I was on my phone until dinner was ready. After dinner I played with my dog. Today I drank my 60 oz of water. I feel like I’m struggling with my screen time. Instead of doing two bad habits and trying to limit/ fix them, I should of only stuck to one. I also feel like I need to figure out strategies like putting my phone away while doing homework. Out of all of the days during the project, this is the worst because I went on my phone too much. I hope that tomorrow I’m on it less considering I have for 4 hrs.

  14. today i woke up went to school got home at 3:30 today not as much traffic did my homework i had dinner and then i went for a bike ride for an hour then i came home and stayed downstairs for another hour went upstairs for another hour with only 1 hour and a half of screen time then i took a shower and now i am planning to go to bed.

  15. Yesterday, I woke up at 7:30 to prepare to go to school. When I do reach the school, I was another normal school day. When I got home, I did my homework played an hour of games and then went to the gym for about 1 hour. Completing my task...

  16. I woke up for school around 7:30. After school I went to Y and went to the pool with the little kids for an hour. Then after that I finished my homework and went home. I didn't really use my phone except for when I went home.

  18. That morning I took my dog on a walk. My mom was working so my dad picked me up and dropped me home he webr back to Worcester because my sister had a show so I was home alone , my brother later came home so I went on a run with him which was fun When we got home I took my dog on a walk. Later that night I did my homework and I finished my book so I have to get a new one

I woke up ate breakfast which was the same as yesterday I got ready for school then went to school ate a salad for lunch drank 74oz of water went to American eagle to get shorts went to dance did my last class dance to the double speed version of the song and fell off the chair three times. Came home my ankle was swollen then Martha came home and raced me to the shower then she beat me up to get in the shower first then I waited till she was out to use the other shower so I could have hot water and then Jack got in the shower so I waited till 10:40 to shower then went to bed. All my goals were accomplished today

  20. I went to the YMCA for push day did some chest press, bench press, incline press, dips, shoulder press, oblique and abdominal workouts. And I ate more and drank more.
