Lets do this!
Ok everyone here we go! Insgtead of looking at this as a project, look at it as an opportunity to improve your quaity of life. This world has so many stessors and a lot of them affect us because of poor habits we have created, or good habits we lose along the way. To change these poor habits is extremely difficult especially if you have had the habit for a long time. There is a light at the end of the tunnel but to get there you have to fight the negative emotions and urges that come with the process. You must admit your habit is bad and then avoid any fixed thoughts that may cause you to "give up" or say "this is too hard." Lean on family, friends, and eachother for support! Good luck and lets become better!

I will be giving up texting and driving. To do this I will change some of my settings as well as giving it to someone if they are in the car with me. I will also contact anyone necessry by phoning instead of text in an emergency. I know this will be diffiult but also know it can lead to very bad outcoes if I continue. Good luck to everyone else, we can do this!

DeleteWhen I get home from school, I won't eat any junk food. I'll eat fruits, mandarin oranges, and apple sauce. It will be one of the three for each day.
ReplyDeleteI will try reducing my screen time and trying to drink more water throughout the day. To fill the time I will go outside more and maybe ride my bike to my aunts house. After riding my bike I will drink more water. I will read more to fill time and read before bed instead of Netflix or tv
ReplyDeleteI will be limiting myself to only 2 hours of screen time a day. To fill in the time i will Go outside a lot more, start reading more, and do more productive things.
ReplyDeleteI am giving up 1hour of screen time during the week and 2 hours during the weekend by replacing that time with physical activity. My plan to make this plan work is to be encouraged by reminding myself to prepare for high school football and tell my parents to disable my device during the x amount of time.
ReplyDeleteI will be reducing social media time . In the afternoon or when I come home from school I will be doing physical activities . Also before I go to sleep instead of using social media to go to sleep I will read a book
ReplyDeleteI will be limiting the tv I watch on my phone. Here is my plan- after my homework is done, it is ok to watch tv. Then get ready for my sport and do not watch tv. After my sport when I get home 1 to 2 hours of tv. I could limit it by reading a book or sitting in the living room with my mom. I could help make dinner or put my phone in a different room then I am in. On the weekend I could limit tv by 2 hours and play with my dog Jasper.
ReplyDeleteI will be reducing the amount of screen time I get on a daily basis. I will fill that time with reading and physical activity. I will read before I go to bed, and during the day. I will also go on a walk for 30 minutes at least 3-4 times a week. I will only be drinking water, and eating healthier(less junk foods) I will also be spending more time with my family.
ReplyDeleteI am reducing 4 hours of screen time for more time outside and exercise so I can tire myself out to get more sleep. I will take sleeping pill every night at 9.
ReplyDeleteI will be cutting down 50% of screen time and replacing that time exercising and doing more physical activity. I will complete this goal by turning off my phone completely and leaving it in a separate room. I will also be drinking only water and maintaining eating healthy.
ReplyDeleteFor the habit project I will drink more water. I want to drink at least 60 ounces a day. In order to do this I will drink 16 ounces in the morning (7-8). Throughout the school day I will drink at least 21 ounces of water. After school I will drink 37 ounces of water. To enforce this I am competing with Hannah to see who drinks the most.
ReplyDeleteFor the habit project, I’m limiting my screen time. I’m only going on my phone after school and at night in bed for 20 min. I’m also limiting drinking juice. I’m filling it by drinking 60 oz of water. ( competing with Sarah :) )
ReplyDeleteFor the habit project, I will give up unhealthy foods and improve my diet. I will try to drink 12 cups of water every day and occasionally workout.
ReplyDeleteI will be giving up playing video games for a hour and replace it for more outside activity. - Simon Donkor
