Sunday May 13th
Hi everyone, hope you enjoyed you weekends! As for my habit of texting and driving I had a few realizations this weekend. Saturday as I was rushing around running a 5k in Hopedale at 10am then shooting back to Worcester for Lilly’s bday party at 2pm I found myself using my phone in he car. I wasn’t even thinking and begin getting messages out to people for all sorts of reasons. I did stop and called my phone mom and wife to avoid texting. These texts came without conscious thought which told me this is a habit that I need to work on. I also realized that my phone is used for more in the car than texting because it is also how I play music at times through my google play account. I need some strategies to avoid this because it is literally the same as texting. I hope you all are experiencing success and realization. I will see you all in the morning and look forward to reading your habit accounts.

Today i limited myself to only 1 hour of screen time and spent the rest of the day out because of mothers day

ReplyDeleteSince day was Mother's Day, I did errands around the house for my mom all day and went outside with my sister and played on the trampoline.
ReplyDeleteToday I ate healthy but I also had two hamburgers at a cookout. I also went for a walk with my friends and went to the park for an hour.

DeleteToday I went to horse show and I was there for 12 hours and I made it semi- finals which are in Ohio. And I wasn't on my phone like at all. I also had to give up the sweets for a couple minutes because I had anxiety and I was very stressed so I had a donut and I also went out side for a little time because I needed some time to myself
ReplyDeleteSince it was Mother's Day I spent the whole day out with my family. I spent the whole day walking indoors and out, I also kept my phone in my mom's purse so that I wouldn't use it while we were out.
ReplyDeleteToday I lacked in drinking water :( I had 6 ounces in the morning for breakfast and three 8 oz water bottles for lunch which means I only had 30 oz of water. I barely went on my phone today. I went on it for approximately an hour. Tomorrow I will try harder.
ReplyDeleteSince today was mother’s day, I was out of the house almost the entire day. I walked 2 miles again and drank lots of water but I did have a half a slice of cheesecake as my unhealthy food.
ReplyDeleteToday I celebrated mother’s day with my family. I played basketball and catch with my cousins. I walked around my cousins neighborhood because their was new houses being built and we wanted to see them. - Simon Donkor

ReplyDeleteToday was good. I got up around 9:30. I forgot to plug in my phone in my phone Saturday night, so my phone was dead. Which lead me not to watch tv on phone, which was nice. I got to spend the morning with my mom. Then we got in the car and drove to sixflags,and I only watched about ten minutes of tv on my phone. We left six flags around 8. On the way home, we went to my grandmother"S house to say Happy Mother's Day. Now I am at home working on my blog!

ReplyDeleteI limited 1 hour of screen time and filled it by doing physical activity. I went to my cousin’s house for lunch and got to spend lots of time with my family. I read before I went to bed.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I did not drink my water goal, but I was close. I drank about 40 ounces of water. Since it was Mother’s Day we spent the day out of the house. I did not get the opportunity to refill my water bottle, which was probably the main reason I didn’t get to drink my goal.
ReplyDeleteOn Sunday , I left my house at 11:00am and went to church and got there at 11:30am (since I live 30min away ). After the mass there was a Mother’s day lunch so me and my friends ate lunch and went on a walk outside for like an 1hour and for that whole time I wasn’t using my phone . Later that night I got home late like around 10:30 from a Mother’s Day party and I read a book instead of using my phone and went right to sleep
ReplyDeleteon sunday i woke up at 8:00 and went to workout until 9:00 failing to be able to complete my task
ReplyDeleteOver the weekend I did well with junk food.. I drank more water than usual and I limited how many snacks I was eating but I did not do as well with social media.. I think I may have to develop a new strategy if I want to achieve my goal

ReplyDeleteSunday was very easy because i was at my gramdma house. I talked a lot with my family so it what distracted me from my phone I was feeling pretty okay

ReplyDeleteSince today was mothers day we woke up early and went to mass then went out to lunch. I have found that eating out makes it a challenge to stay healthy and not pick the more unhealthy but seem so much better choices for food. For the rest of the day i did stick to my goals and drank only water as well as went outside and played baseball with my brother for an hour.
